David Jao joins evolutionQ as Chief Cryptographer

evolutionQ Inc. announced today that world renowned cryptographer, Prof. David Jao, has joined the executive team as Chief Cryptographer.

Prof. Jao is an accomplished researcher in the field of "post-quantum," or quantum-safe, cryptography credited with the invention of the supersingular elliptic curve isogenies-based scheme for post-quantum public key cryptography. Also, he is the Director of the Centre for Applied Cryptographic Research (CACR) and leads a post-quantum cryptography research group at the University of Waterloo.

As Chief Cryptographer, he will lead the design and implementation of evolutionQ’s quantum-safe cryptography modules, and develop quantum risk assessments and training programs.
